About Us - Garden Barrel Suppliers

Stretton Oak Tubs is run by husband and wife team, David and Liz on their family farm, based in the beautiful hills of South Shropshire. Both David and Liz have a hands-on approach to both the customer side and also the day-to-day running of the business.

The business was established over 20 years ago when David was a delivery driver around Scotland where he got to know all of our suppliers personally and gain knowledge of the industry direct from the producers who had old wooden barrels for sale. This puts him in a good position to source the best products, such as oak water butts and creative garden planters, at the most competitive price.

Now with a young family, all our efforts are concentrated on the business. With many garden centres only supplying one size of oak barrel planters, we are able to offer a wide variety of sizes from large whole old barrels for sale to small oak barrels to be used as subtler and more creative planters. Our products may not only be used as planters but additionally as ornamental water butts and can be delivered directly to your door within a matter of days.

The majority of our products are made to order, allowing customer the choice (i.e. painted bands) and ensuring that the barrels arrive with the customer as fresh as possible.

We pride ourselves in customer service and this is reflected in the positive feedback we receive, as there is only two of us we take responsibility for your order from start to finish.
